LA CEIBA
The GCLA church in La Ceiba was planted in the mid 80's. It started as a small prayer and Bible home-group. By the early 90's, there were two home groups and a church weekend service. In May of the 2003, God allowed the church, with the help of many U.S. STM teams, to build its auditorium in a donated property. The church’s vision is to build a community center that serves the people in La Ceiba and neighboring communities with health care, occupation trades, and Biblical and leadership training.

Total Health
The church started Total Health clinic to provide medical attention to the poor people of the region, who can’t afford any kind of medical care. This has been an ongoing project for the past six years. During this period of time, approximately 75 medical teams have served more than 35,000 people in the region. The teams share the Gospel with every person who comes to the clinic. During all these years of laboring, the clinic has won the reputation of serving with excellence and in a humanitarian way. As a result, more than 5,000 people have prayed to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. The Church has grown to an attendance of 450 adults and 200 children.

Medical Teams for Trips
The success of the program relies heavily on the monthly participation of medical teams. The needs are great and can’t be met by one doctor alone! Teams are usually comprised of people with a wide range of medical skills. The church goal is to have at least one medical mission team every month. STM teams enable the church in La Ceiba to bless thousands of people in the region.

Total Home
The concept of Total Home was originated after Hurricane Mitch in 1998 left thousands of people homeless. GCLA and Samaritan's Purse partnered to build thousands of homes. The GCLA churches provided medical service and humanitarian aid to thousands of people, and built in record time thousands of new homes. The beneficiaries of the homes and aid all heard the plan of salvation of Jesus Christ.

Despite all the efforts of many organizations to build homes for the homeless, today Honduras still has a big housing deficit.

Total Home is a project primarily oriented to provide a decent house to low income families living in marginal urban areas. In addition to building the house; the vision of Total Home is to train with Biblical values and principles the families who will occupy the houses, so they can create exemplary homes for their families.
