MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR

I remember how 29 years ago, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, a group of 20 young believers were praying to God to be used by Him to reach the world. We understood that the Great Commission is a direct instruction from Christ about how we should use our lives.

Today, I stand in awe as in our last GCLA Easter Conference, five new pastors were appointed. There are 27 pastors in our movement, 24 churches in 6 countries, 645 leaders, more than 8,000 people attending the church services. God allowed us to be used by Him to rebuild a country that was destroyed by Hurricane Mitch. Together in partnership with Samaritan's Purse, more than 5,400 houses were built. Medicine, food, and clothing were handed out to those in desperate need. The spreading of the Gospel was the motivation for all that was done. Today, there are clinics that serve more than 10,000 sick people a year. We help mobilize more than 300 short term missionaries a year to different churches in Latin America. God is helping us establish our headquarters in Miami.

The future is promising because those prayers that were made a long time ago were heard and answered by our awesome God. And those petitions still continue today: that He will continue to use us for his glory and the expanding of His Kingdom. The Great Commission is still our rule and mission.
